The Avelanche Academy
about
Avelanche Academy is a training academy created by DJ Avelanche to help share the craft of DJ'ing,
Music Production, Beat Making and Podcasting. DJ Avelanche is a 30 year professional DJ starting at the age of 13. At age 19, he started in radio and has worked many different stations as a host, producer and a mixshow DJ.
AA is Avelanche's own private teaching academy that includes one-on-one training, as well as group classes or camps, in person or online.
DJ Avelanche is the only Serato certified instructor in the NW. He began teaching the craft at a local school in 2019, and after successfully propelling the careers of numerous DJs through instructing dozens of students, he has branched out privately for those who can’t attend the school’s location.
At the Avelanche Academy, we start from the very basics of DJ'ing or beat making and continue at each student's pace until they learn all that they want to begin a career in one or more of these professions.

Be the life of the party.
AA DJ course will start off by explaining the art form was created. We then begin to explore the gear and the software. After students learn their way around the equipment we begin picking songs, creating a set and learning the basic radio fade, as well as how to setup and break down for any event.
Level one of the DJ course is enough to get anyone started playing small events for friends and family.
